Prince Hamza to Testify
The defense team of a former confidant of Jordan's King Abdullah, who is on trial on charges of agitating to destabilize the monarchy, has asked Prince Hamza and 25 other witnesses to testify. Although, the defendant's lawyer, Mohamed Afif, said it is up to the court to decide whether to call in Prince Hamza as a witness.
Syria Cross-Border Aid
Russia’s UN envoy, Vassily Nebenzia, described efforts to reopen a second border crossing into Syria from Iraq for humanitarian aid deliveries as a 'non-starter.' He added that he is only discussing a possible extension of UN approval for a crossing from Turkey.

A televised phone-in with Russian President Vladimir Putin was hit by cyberattacks on Wednesday. The session, which lasted nearly four hours, repeatedly faced connection issues. Russia's largest telecommunications provider confirmed the attacks and said necessary measures were being taken to block the activities.
China Communist Party Centenary
In a speech today, Chinese President Xi Jinping hailed China’s “irreversible” course from a humiliated colony to great power at the 100th anniversary of the Chinese Communist Party. Xi said the “era of China being bullied is gone forever," adding that the party has brought about “national rejuvenation.”
